A friend of mine gave me some old sheet music of days by gone. While going thru these musical sheets I came across one that was of particular interest. This sheet had two songs entitled "The Old Maroon and Gold" and the other was "Jackets Sting 'em". Both were written by "O. L. Lantz" and had "Copyright 1949 by Thomas Jefferson High School, Port Arthur, Tex." on the bottom of both pages of the sheets.
Of course we all know the "Old Maroon and Gold" .... but what about the other song "Jackets Sting 'em" ... Is there any one who can tell us about this song?
